I remember that game! The day I got to the end was a triumphant one!
That’s so cool that you played AND finished it! I played it but got frustrated and gave up early on.
For those of you who didn’t play the game and are curious, I’m pretty sure you can find it on the internet if you search for Infocom (the manufacturer) and Hitchhikers Guide.
I’m not sure I ever made it past the first “room”. Bad gamer, bad bad gamer.
I couldn’t get past getting the babel fish. Sigh.
I got the babel fish, but it was hard as heck. I have a clear memory of messing up at least 3 times before I finally got it.
I watched the H2G2 movie last night.
I’m trying to remember why I liked it so much. Even Zooey D.’s voice was getting on my nerves.
Nice to see the original Marvin again, though.
I watched part of it and decided I had better things to do with my time.
I couldn’t believe the way they handled Zaphod’s extra head. That was just freakish.
I paid good money to see it in the theater.
It… didn’t completely fail to be somewhat lackluster.
