I’m not actually a fan of the day at all. I despise most “practical jokes,” and generally not being able to trust anything anyone says is a recipe for frustration. I’m a very literal person at the core.
But if you’re wondering whether I’ve liked any new music by an actual new band lately, I direct you to a song that is in rapid rotation whenever I get a chance to put on some headphones and jam out: “Hey I Don’t Know” by KONGOS.
Of course, when your kids are grown & out of the house, and you’re not even slightly religious, the point of Easter is somewhat lost on a person. Unless the point is to sell/purchase/consume candy & chocolate, in which case… bring it on.
