If you’re completely lost, and I expect that almost everyone will be… allow me to clear things up just a bit.

At the far end of your tether, and your thoughts won’t fit together? So you sleep light (or whatever), and the night goes on forever, and your mind change like the weather… you’re in need of Dr Tarr and Professor Fether.
Oh, and I’ve figured out (finally!) where Score got his name from, I think.
Might it have something to do with the two “X”s, hmmm?

We have a winner, ladies and gentlemen!
(Yes, I know: Dreadfully obscure and silly. I’m that way, sometimes.)
(Okay, often.)
To clarify: the twin “X”s can also be read as “XX”, or the Roman numeral for “20”. 20, of course, is also known as… a score, as in “four score and seven years ago…”
While there’s a big part of me who wants to see a shout-out in the strip for my correctly guessing the etymology of Score’s name, there’s another part of me that knows that Score himself would probably be the one doing it… and that might turn out to be A Very Bad Thing.
I’ll come up with a suitable reward, somehow… [insert evil laughter, here]
