I think we can all agree that this was the result of my desperate trawling through the Evernote ideas file for a punchline around which to build a comic rather than any sort of comedic genius stroke of inspiration, yes…?

The light bulb joke is mine, if a bit short and obvious. The other one I found at McSweeney’s, and was too good to pass up.
