Spiel Ohne Grenzen

What’s funny to me, now that I’ve finished the thing, is that I didn’t work Peter Gabriel into this one even though I’d picked out this title beforehand.

So there really isn’t a comedy beat in here. I just wanted to have Amme play off of the boys’ silly behavior just a bit. Think of this as a characterization moment, if you will.

A Half Century

Can you believe that a dilettante like myself has cranked out fifty of these things? Me, of all people?

I came close to giving it all up a couple of times, but you know… I just don’t like the idea of giving up on yet another project, another idea. So you’re stuck with me for a while longer yet.

Unless you decide to stop visiting, of course. There’s always that.

This is a prime example of two things:

  1. Why I Don’t Participate In “Talk Like A Pirate Day”. Ye gods, people, that’s a lot of work just to sound even less intelligible than I already am.
  2. Sometimes it’s a complete nightmare when you have the punch line but don’t have a good way to construct the joke which leads up to it.

Hell, I didn’t even come up with nearly as clever of a title as I’d hoped for… and you don’t want to see the rejected titles. Trust me.
