Dancing Atop The Fourth Wall
On the one hand, this is probably the most blatant comic yet to bait claims of “jumping the shark” from my (tiny yet loyal) readership.
On the other hand, this comic may have set a record for the shortest concept-to-conclusion production time frame in all of QP history.
I leave it to better minds than mine to decide the relative value of these facts.

When you plan on breaking something, go for it.
Well, we already knew that they know they’re in a comic strip… so this isn’t too mind-breaking.
I figure that casual self-awareness is one thing, but deliberately poking fun at the scenario is something else entirely…
When you do jump the shark, I expect you to make a little effort and use AN ACTUAL SHARK.
