Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays published on 1 Comment on Happy Holidays

A few weeks ago I was struck with an idea. I had the timeline a bit off at first; luckily I figured out in time that in order to fit twelve comics in between Thanksgiving and Christmas I’d need to go to a three comics per week schedule starting on November 30th, not on December 7th.

Whew.

So, for the next four weeks you’re getting three comics per week, Mondays and Wednesdays not Thursdays but Fridays. But… they’re all on one particular theme.

“On the first day of Christmas, a ducky gave to me…”

Enjoy, won’t you?

Cold Turkey

You may have been expecting another holiday poster, but it’s not as if people decorate their tables with Thanksgiving grub a week in advance, is it?

And no, it’s not like our synthetic friends really believe that turkeys are their true cousins. It’s a symbolic thing, or some-such.

And this is the last normal-schedule comic for a while, since there’s no way I can squeeze twelve comics into the weeks remaining between now and Christmas on a Monday/Thursday timetable so I’ll need to crank things up a little bit…

(Is that a big enough hint, or do I need a bigger sledgehammer?)

Spiel Ohne Grenzen

What’s funny to me, now that I’ve finished the thing, is that I didn’t work Peter Gabriel into this one even though I’d picked out this title beforehand.

So there really isn’t a comedy beat in here. I just wanted to have Amme play off of the boys’ silly behavior just a bit. Think of this as a characterization moment, if you will.
