During the original brainstorming for the webcomic I gave Poe his name because “it’s short for Poser.” Every now and then I’m inclined to make him live up to that.

Mind you, I also expected Poe to be my lead character. I’m not quite sure how that went so badly awry…

Now, we shouldn’t say that the original trio of ladies in the cast have no sense of humor. Shimako, particularly, is amused by all sorts of things. But what the boys mean, of course, is “a sense of humor like ours.”

Have you ever noticed how one’s estimation of another person’s intelligence is directly related to whether they find one’s jokes funny?
