I hesitate to give a brand new duck a name, because that makes me feel as if I need to commit to a cast page entry and a new Character “tag” and so forth. This is especially true with a somewhat-fragile, hard-to-photograph duck like Julie here.

And yes, I know those aren’t jewels, but the name stuck in my head and there you go. Deal with it. 🙂

This is one of those rainy-day jokes I’ve been saving in Evernote for those days when I can’t come up with something even worse.

I suppose there’s one nice thing about having a steady stream of incoming ducks: It makes coming up with one-shot comic ideas quite a bit easier…
