It’s been a while since I tried something really new around here. A wild thought struck me a couple weeks ago, and this is the first opportunity I’ve had to give it a go. (The last few comics were produced either in reaction to a news item or late at night when I lacked the energy to draft a whole new layout.)

These are harder than they look, by the way. A lot of hand-tweaking and research and fussing and fiddling went into this, which amuses me because my original thought was, “Hey, this would be a neat way to ‘cheap out’ for a comic or two.” Hah!
