I didn’t actually watch [sporting event], but my roommate who left it on the TV while he was working downstairs said that he found the [halftime gimmick] more entertaining than the commercials.

For the record, I didn’t watch [sporting event] either, but I did hear lots of comments about [halftime gimmick].
I DID watch the Super Bowl, thank you very much, as did many members of The Flock.
And there’s nothing wrong with that. I simply number zero sports fans among the local denizens or friends-n-family thereof. 🙂
