You’d be surprised how many things still require a check to be mailed. Student loan payments, for example.
This gives me an idea…..Think I’ll go to 7-11 and try to pay with a check. “Hello, I’d like to buy this Slurpee and I’ll be paying for it with a check.” I wonder if they will laugh or just look at me like I’m nuts?
I’d not be surprised if they have a sign posted, “cash or card only” or something similar. I’d also not be surprised if you didn’t still get blank stares from the folk(s) behind the counter.
