Blame Game Hen

Shimako’s view is one possible take on the situation. That’s not to say that Sachiko and Rei are entirely in the wrong, being angry at Neil’s breach of trust. A little moral ambiguity with your breakfast, eh?

Of course, Neil doesn’t know that he may or may not be off the hook…

Upgrading to Webcomic 2.1 and Inkblot 2.1 improved some things but broke a few others. For instance, the CSS is wildly off kilter now. Also? When I upload images, I no longer get the option of setting the scheduled date right off the bat. I have to set it to Draft mode, then go fix the schedule time, then do my usual editing. What’s worse, it seems to mix up the main image with previous thumbnails. I have to go in afterward and reassociate the thumbnails (which it generates correctly, at least) with the new post.

Annoying, that. Looks like it’s time to say something on the support forum. Oh, joy.

And if you’re wondering: There are only a few more posts to go in this “story” sequence, then we’ll spend some more time making silly jokes. Honest!

My oh my, what could be going on, here?

So, yes: I cheated like a cheating cheater who cheats. This is a dialog-free comic. Having framed the shots in my head, I realized that this is a good time to see if I can convey a plot element without spelling it out for the viewer. It should be fairly clear what’s going on, actually.

I hope it is, anyway.

I had some help with the photo shoot this afternoon, too. Commence mockery!

Here, Roger demonstrates rudimentary skill in the art of keeping folks guessing.

Nobody knows if it’ll work out as he hopes, of course. At least Rei’s not angry with him… yet.

Oh, yeah: The Ducklings make another appearance! What were they doing to old Score, anyway…?
